I seem to remember posting something "forever ago" that I was totally fed up with the campaigns. Well, is it possible to get more fed up than fed up? Is either side ever going to discuss issues or what they stand for? Obama has tried but appears to have given up and joined the Rovian Ranks. Is the public so stupid that they can not see through this crap? Does anyone stop to check out the bullshit emails before they forward to gazillion friends.
This week we had the lipstick on a pig comment. Even though this had nothing to do with Palin the press and the blogosphere went totally waco over it. But that makes some sense since it took the reporting away from the issues. OMG.

Amem to you on this, John Nagle. It's all bull on the campaign busses and both candidates are spouting feverish rhetoric scripted by those who control political parties.
My fear is both sides of the fence can't discuss issues intellegently, so they won't.
My fear now, with both of them is that NEITHER has the experience to lead and both have VP choices that are too extreme to appeal to moderates from both parties.
I am a voter without a candidate today, waiting to see if these campaigns can say anything intellegent about say...the economy. Lehman is going under, Merrill Lynch is being sold, Wachovia is wobbling, etc, etc and neither candidate can talk about this.
Neither candidate can intellegently discuss what matters, they have gotten lost in a sea of spin doctors
